Registration Terms of KIP-K 2022

Balikpapan - Kalimantan Institute of Technology, a state university in East Kalimantan, supports lecture activities for students and offers scholarship opportunities. With the existence of KIP-Kuliah scholarships, the government, through the Puslapdik of the Ministry of Education and Culture, remains committed to providing the broadest possible access to higher education for all students in Indonesia. Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering, materials and metallurgical engineering, urban and regional planning, environmental engineering, naval engineering, marine engineering, mathematics, physics, informatics, and information systems are all available as scholarships at the Kalimantan Institute of Technology.

See how the terms and procedures are as follows:

1. High school, vocational, or equivalent students who will graduate in the current year (2022) or graduate 2 years earlier (2020 and 2021)
2. Pass the selection of new student admissions through all college entrance routes and be accepted at a PTN or PTS in an accredited study program
3. Have good academic potential but have economic limitations supported by valid documentary evidence. Economic limitations are evidenced by, among others:
   – Ownership of Indonesia Smart Card (KIP)
   – Families of the Family Hope Program (PKH) participants
   – Families of Prosperous Family Card (KKS) holders
   – Is a student from a social institution or orphanage, or
   – Meet the requirements of economically disadvantaged according to the provisions with valid documents
4. Recipients of KIP Tuition may not receive tuition assistance or other scholarships sourced from the APBN or other private companies that finance the same components.
5. Students complete the KIP Lecture registration process and choose the selection path to be followed (SNMPTN/SBMPTN/SMPN/UMPN/Mandiri);
6. Students complete the registration process on the portal or information system of the national selection of tertiary institutions according to the selected selection path. The synchronization process with the system will be carried out later with a host-to-host scheme.
7. For prospective KIP Lecturer recipients who have been declared accepted at the University, further verification can be carried out by the Higher Education before being proposed as a prospective KIP Lecturer recipient.

** NIK is used to obtain socio-economic information in the Ministry of Social's Integrated Social Gap Data (DTKS). Students who are not/not yet registered with DTKS must complete economic and asset data.
